Bauerntopf

Ingredients
- 800g potatoes
- 3 bell peppers (any color)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 500g ground beef
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 400ml beef broth
- 400g canned diced tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Steps
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Dice the bell peppers. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Heat the oil in a pot and brown the ground beef. Add the onions, garlic and peppers and sauté briefly. Add the tomato paste and fry briefly. Then deglaze everything with red wine vinegar.
- Add the potatoes, beef broth, diced tomatoes, parsley, and paprika powder to the pot and let everything simmer for 30 minutes. Season the Bauerntopf with salt and pepper to taste.
